Bowmasters, developed by Playgendary Limited, is a 2D action
mobile game with physical parabolic shooting as the core
gameplay. The game combines the ejection mechanism of "Angry
Birds" with the exaggerated performance of "Fruit Ninja".
Players can control the characters to throw weapons to attack
opponents by adjusting the shooting angle and strength. Its core
goal is to exhaust the enemy's health in turn-based battles,
while supporting single-player, local two-player battles and
online multiplayer competitions.
Game Features: The
ultimate collision of violent aesthetics and casual social
interaction
Crazy diversity of character and weapon
systems
60+ characters with different styles: from pirates,
ninjas to aliens, Santa Claus, each character has exclusive
weapons (such as boomerangs, bazookas, and frozen arrows) and
attack effects. For example, the "Chainsaw Man"'s weapon can
cause multiple headshot damage, and the "Magician" card can
explode to make up for the angle deviation.
Weapon upgrade
system: Get gold coins by defeating enemies, strengthen the
attributes of bows and arrows (such as range and damage), and
some weapons come with special effects such as penetration and
explosion.
Character unlocking mechanism: Players can
unlock characters by opening treasure chests, completing
achievements or purchasing gold coins. Some rare characters
require watching ads or meeting specific conditions (such as
"firefighters" need to watch 15 videos).
Physical gameplay
and strategic depth
Parabola calculation: Slide the screen
to adjust the angle and strength. The flight trajectory of the
weapon is affected by gravity, and the position of the moving
target (such as flying birds, fruits) needs to be predicted.
Weak
point attack mechanism: Hitting the head and other parts can
cause high damage. Some character weapons (such as the camera of
the "selfie man") need to be clicked twice to trigger special
effects.
Dynamic environmental interference: The 2024
version adds a wind system. The wind direction and wind speed
will affect the trajectory of the weapon and increase the
strategic nature of the operation.
Diversified modes and
social interaction
PVP confrontation: In the two-player
battle mode, both sides take turns to attack. Those who run out
of health will be defeated by the opponent with an exaggerated
"finishing move" (such as the "shark" character dragging the
opponent into the water).
Fun challenge:
Shooting
apples: Apples are placed on the enemy's head, and accurate
shooting is required to avoid accidental injuries.
Hunting
ducks: Shoot down a flock of flying birds within a limited time
to test your reaction speed.
Boss round battle: Periodic
activity mode, challenge giant monsters to get rare rewards.
Survival
level: As the level progresses, the complexity of obstacles
increases, and you need to use parabola auxiliary lines to
bypass the bunker and hit the target.
Social function:
Support friends to play online, compete in online rankings, and
get rewards by sharing your results on social platforms.
Exaggerated
visual and auditory performance
Cartoon paper man style:
The characters are designed in a flat style with bright colors,
and the scenes cover multiple themed battlefields such as
deserts, snowfields, and castles.
Violent comedy effect:
After the weapon hits, it presents exaggerated ragdoll physical
effects (such as limbs breaking and blood splattering), but it
is presented in a cartoon form to reduce the bloody feeling.
Dynamic
sound effects: There are special sound effects when weapons are
fired, hit, and characters die (such as the sawtooth sound of
"Chainsaw Man" and the ice explosion sound effect of "Santa
Claus").
Gameplay Guide: The road from novice to expert
Basic
operation
Angle and force adjustment: swipe up and down on
the screen to control the shooting direction, long press to
charge to determine the weapon's flight distance, and release
the finger to fire.
Assistive function: The game provides a
dotted line prompt of the last shooting path to help novices
adjust their strategies.
Weapon special effect trigger:
Some weapons need to click the screen to activate again during
flight (such as the electric shock of "Game Console Girl" and
the weapon angle increase of "Pumpkin Head").
Advanced
skills
Predict moving targets: In "Bird Shooting" or
"Hunting" mode, you need to calculate the intersection of the
target's flight trajectory and the weapon speed in advance.
Use
environmental factors: Under the influence of wind, shooting
with the wind can increase the range, and against the wind
requires more force.
Character restraint strategy:
When
facing high-defense characters (such as "Watermelon Aunt"),
choose penetrating or explosive weapons (such as "Bazooka").
For
agile characters (such as "Alien"), use range attack weapons
(such as the surrounding flying disc of "Disc Man").
Resource
management: Prioritize upgrading the weapon attributes of
commonly used characters, and prioritize opening character
fragments rather than decorative props in treasure chests.
Mode-specific
strategies
PVP battles: Test the opponent's position in the
first round, and then counterattack according to the enemy's
shooting path (for example, if the opponent is used to shooting
at a high angle, you can dodge close to the bottom).
Survival:
Keep high-damage weapons to deal with boss battles, and use
ordinary weapons to clear monsters in the early stage.
Limited-time
challenge: Prioritize attacking targets with low health, and
quickly accumulate combos to increase score bonuses.
Notes:
Avoid novice traps and optimize experience
Version
differences: There are multiple iterative versions of the game
(such as v6.6.0, v7.1.11). The number of characters, weapon
effects and operation methods may differ due to version updates.
It is recommended to refer to the actual downloaded version
content.
Advertisements and in-app purchases: Some
characters and weapons need to be unlocked by watching ads,
which can be skipped by turning off the network connection or
using ad blocking tools.
Age limit: The game contains
violent elements (such as blood splatter and limb fractures).
The official rating is 18+. Minors are advised to play with
caution.
Device adaptation: Low-end mobile phones may
experience lag due to excessive screen effects. You can lower
the image quality in the settings to improve fluency.
Data
backup: When playing across devices, you need to bind your
progress through your Facebook or Google account to avoid data
loss.
